Bring your furry, feathered, and scaled friends to a joyful Blessing of the Animals service at St. John Lutheran Church, 7214 Cass Ave. Darien, IL! Sunday, October 12th at 9 am. This special gathering celebrates the goodness of God’s creation and the unique bond we share with our pets. All are welcome—whether you’re a longtime member, a neighbor, or just passing by—to bring your well-socialized dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, or any beloved companion for a time of prayer and blessing. Children especially are encouraged to take part, and the whole community is invited to join us in giving thanks for the creatures who enrich our lives with love and joy.
